Jessica’s paintings are an homage to the people, architecture, flora, and fauna of the Old and the New West. Watercolor is her preference for illustrative attention to detail, representation of texture, and for pushing the boundaries of realism with a medium historically used for a loose, fluid style.
After graduating from Kendall College of Art & Design in Michigan, Jessica heard and followed the call of the West and the Rockies. She and her husband are now settled in Dillon, after having lived in the Flathead Valley near Glacier National Park for nearly a decade. She’s now finding inspiration in sagebrush, antelope, and ghost towns.
