The Tendoy Fine Art gallery has relocated to 120 N. Montana, sharing space with the Southwest Montana Arts Council (SMAC) after a year at their home on Idaho Street in Dillon, Montana. The community is invited to a First Year and Relocation Celebration at the new space on October 27th. The gallery will be open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm and be part of the Fall Art Walk.
The move to Montana Street will enable Tendoy to have more space to represent artists and provide an arts education room that will be utilized by both SMAC and Tendoy. Members of both groups have been busy painting and making improvements to the space.
Plans are underway to develop a broad spectrum of classes for adults and children in visual arts and other creative activities. In addition, the education room will provide space to showcase the art of community members and bring in occasional shows by out-of-area artists. The front area gallery will offer fine art pieces by gallery members.
Tendoy Fine Art would like to thank the Montana Youth Challenge Cadets who helped with painting at the new location. Monetary and materials donations such as used storage shelves would be welcomed to assist with setting up the new space.
