Elise Davis will be the featured artist at the Tendoy Fine Art Gallery in Dillon for the month of May. A reception celebrating her work will be held Sunday, May 5th at the gallery located at 120 N. Montana Street from 12:00 to 3:00 P.M. The reception is open to the public and refreshments will be served.
Elise Davis is a graduate of the University of Montana-Western with a degree in Visual Art. She is also an Emergency Medical Technician and an employee of Barrett Hospital and Healthcare. The show that Davis will present is a unique concept in that the major work is sizable, but individual components can be purchased alone, as each component is a work of art by itself. The pieces are created out of local Blue and White Pine. “I believe everyone deserves a piece of Montana – the Last Best Place and at an affordable price,” says Davis. “I pay homage to the towering mountains, eternal skies and crystal clear lakes here in Southwestern Montana.” A multi-media artist, Davis has been a resident of Beaverhead county for eleven years.
